Beyond the Pitch

TechColumbus portfolio company, CredHive, signs partnership agreement with Coggno to help talent actively manage their careers

COLUMBUS, OHIO – TechColumbus portfolio company, CredHive, a disruptive career management platform, and Coggno, an eLearning software provider, inked a partnership agreement to create ties between their systems empowering talent to more actively manage their careers and credentials.

The agreement will link CredHive’s platform with Coggno’s learning and development classes enabling talent to seamlessly post course certifications into their CredHive account. CredHive will also begin curating Coggno’s training courses to CredHive talent to help them continually advance their skills and careers.

The average worker stays at their job for 4.4 years according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and millenials can expect to stay about half that. The Bureau of Labor Statistics also predicts that the average person will have upwards of 7 careers in their lifetime.

“With all that change, people need a place to manage their experience, certifications and credentials and this partnership will help make it easy for people to house their experience and continuing education in one place,” said Tracey Parsons, founder and CEO of CredHive. “The way people work is changing and it’s no longer practical to have a drawer full of flash drives, it is far simpler to store your best work in the cloud,” said Parsons.

“More people are taking an active role in advancing their career with training and development. We see this firsthand with our career training self-service model and the number of people who are self-selecting to learn,” said Tod Browndorf, President at Coggno.

“Our partnership with CredHive is exciting because we will be able to offer their solution to the people who are interested in advancing their careers through our training and development platform.” Browndorf said.

“We could not be happier to be partnering with Coggno, the depth and breadth of their course offering is so compelling to us and to be able to offer this to the people on our platform is a major win for us. They really are one-stop shop for learning and development and we are truly thrilled to be a partner,” said Parsons.

“TechColumbus continues to be encouraged by the work CredHive is doing to disrupt talent acquisition and the career management field. This partnership is a great step at growing their business and offering value to their talent and the people who use Coggno’s software as well,” said Matt Veryser, TechColumbus Venture Advisor.
