IncubaTour Stop 3: Going big but making room for small in New Albany

Less than three years after starting a business incubator, New Albany has nearly doubled its size, had four businesses expand and one that moved to the city’s downtown.

The city had tried different incubator configurations under a contract with TechColumbus starting in 2009, but the concept blossomed only after creating Inc@8000 in spring 2011 – and broadening the focus for startups beyond pure technology.
