Green Week Recycle at TechColumbus
TechColumbus and IMS Electronics Recycling are teaming up make it easy for area businesses and individuals to recycle their old electronics.
On Friday, April 25 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. you can drop off old computers, TVs, or electrical devices at TechColumbus, 1275 Kinnear Road in Columbus.
We can accept
desktops · laptops · cell phones · video games consoles · game accessories · telecommunications equipment · networking equipment · microwaves · blenders · coffee makers · stereo equipment televisions*
(*Fees for monitors ($5), CRT TVs ($10), wooden console, projection, and plasma TVs ($30))
As a member of Columbus Green Spot, our recycling day is one way that TechColumbus will be participating in Green Week (April 19-26).
Green Columbus, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable living in central Ohio, has information about additional volunteer opportunities for Green Week
The organization reports that over the last seven years, the people of this region have contributed more than 50,000+ plus service hours in Earth Day volunteer activities.
Green Columbus is hosting a volunteer appreciation celebration on Saturday, April 26 at Columbus Commons with bands, food trucks, and environmental groups and businesses.
If every person and organization does one or two “green” things, we can all help keep Central Ohio clean and green.
