Giving Thanks for the Columbus Community

Happy Thanksgiving!

As we move into the final weeks of 2018, I’m reflecting on this record year for entrepreneurship in Central Ohio. We have so much to be grateful for.

When it comes to dedication, creativity, and persistence, the folks who come through the door at 1275 Kinnear Road set the bar. Whether members of startup teams headquartered here at Rev1 Labs, individuals from the many organizations and interests that make up Columbus’ exciting entrepreneurial community, or Rev1 employees and partners, we pour our hearts and energy into helping startups and entrepreneurs succeed.

And that collective effort is yielding remarkable results.

This has been a record year for the amount of capital attracted by our portfolio companies and their exits. We are thankful to the committed and talented entrepreneurs who are continuing to put our region on the map and to shape our future.

Columbus continues to be a place of connection and collaboration. We help each other here—so thanks, as well, to our Fortune 1000 corporations being startups’ first customers, thanks to the visionary support of Ohio’s Third Frontier, and thanks to the many mentors and service providers who generously support startups with pro bono advice and expertise.

With gratitude to our community, friends, and the many families represented by those who participate directly in Central Ohio’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, please accept my sincerest wishes for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday with family and friends.
