4:00pm – 5:30pm
1275 Kinnear Rd. | Columbus, OH 43212
In 1981, Pete Kight founded CheckFree while working out of his grandmother’s basement. With a vision of providing electronic funds transfer services to businesses and consumers, Kight built the company through pursuing both organic growth and acquisition. By 2007, CheckFree had grown to employ over 4,700 associates spanning across 9 countries, and generating over $1 Billion in annual revenue. With Kight’s leadership as founder, chairman, and CEO, CheckFree was acquired by Fiserv in December 2007 for $4.4 Billion.
Kight will candidly discuss the lessons he learned, hurdles he faced, mistakes he made, and successes he found while building his business.
This month only, we are extending our Founder’s Lunch series to a happy hour. Please join for the exceptional opportunity to spend time with Pete Kight and learn first-hand how he constructed a single-person startup into a market leader.
