Beyond the Pitch
Growing Diversity CBUS Style
It’s not just about creating diverse teams, but also about taking advantage of the Backyard Effect to build inclusive entrepreneurship opportunities for woman and minority owned businesses here in Columbus. Last year, nearly 30 percent of Rev1’s portfolio companies were women and/or minority-led. We’d like to help educate and connect these businesses and leaders to the initiatives and opportunities right here in Central Ohio.
Learn about the full potential and opportunity of Inclusive Entrepreneurship in our region in a panel discussion with these community organizations/leaders:
Charles Hill, Director of Community Outreach, moderator: In his role with Rev1, Charles is focused on connecting the diverse organizations in the region to support startups.
BLK Hack: whose mission it is to fill the deficit of black minorities in the technical field.
i.c.stars | *Columbus: a powerhouse that gives bright, committed young adults who face bleak futures the opportunity to develop advanced IT skills.
Bunker Labs-Columbus: the first expansion location of this national network of entrepreneurs founded by military veterans to help other veterans start and grow business.
