Greg has 30 years experience in the business ranging from representing tenants buyers and investors in: putting together a strategic real estate facility plan, assisting with lease renewals, restructuring of existing leased and owned facilities, locating and negotiating office space relocations, medical space and investment projects as well as 1031 exchanges, lease buy outs and termination options. His expertise is in the area of strategic planning for facilities, investment acquisitions, site selection and win win negotiation strategies.
Greg has studied and trained in all aspects on consultation, contract negotiation, commercial real estate leasing, and investment property acquisition.
Greg is a past member of SIOR (Society of Office & Industrial Realtors) as one of the leading brokers in the country and has taken the entire CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Management) curriculum pertaining to investment analysis and acquisition. Greg received his CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert Designation) and is one of the top negotiators nationwide as evidenced by his assisting over 900 clients.
Greg speaks, teaches and trains nationally both to professionals like attorneys, accountants and bankers on how to prosper in this commercial real estate market as well as real estate brokers wanting to become experts in various areas of commercial real estate.
He has authored numerous articles on these subjects, including his book Tenant Rep from A to Z and has won many awards including the 2015 Inductee into the Midwest Real Estate Magazine Hall of Fame, 2006 Micro Entrepreneur of the year award for Real Estate, CB Commercials prestigious Presentation Excellence award, won the Business First 40 under 40 award as a top businessman and community leader. He was named by Midwest Real Estate News one of the Top Fifty brokers in the Midwest brokers in 2002 and 2003, and was named 2004 by Costar Group one of the Top Power Brokers in the country ! He is a past featured speaker for the National Association of Realtors Signature Series program that trained agents and other professionals nationally!
Greg owns partnerships in multi-family, student housing, hotels and a retail center. Greg has owned office and single family model homes as well and has knowledge on purchasing, leasing, managing, negotiating and dealing with all vendors and trusted advisors for these types of properties.
Most importantly Greg is an integral member of the Central Ohio Community assisting various charities for people in pain and in need!
He has established a memorial fund at Nationwide Childrens Hospital, assists the Evans Scholars foundation of which he was a proud graduate of at The Ohio State University, Fore Hope, and many others.
Greg mentors many area students from OSU at their real estate club at The Fisher College of Business and speaks to the student athletes at the OSU Younkin Success Center helping them understand business, entrepreneurship and helping them find internships while at OSU and opportunities after college!
