Avoiding Investor Red Flags

When: 11:30am
Where: 8000 Walton Parkway, Suite 200 - New Albany, Ohio

Part of the TIGER Talks Series:

A growing business will likely need outside funding beyond family and friends. Investors are looking at more than just your pitch and business model when determining whether to support you and your company.

In this one-hour session, you’ll learn:

  • the top eight things that can kill a good deal fast;
  • ways to proactively mitigate these risks; and
  • what questions to expect during investor discussions.

Ryan Helon, SVP Investment Funds at Rev1 Ventures, manages our concept and seed investment funds. He works with Rev1 Venture Advisory teams and clients on due diligence, valuation, investment terms, closing, and portfolio management. Ryan serves on the Boards of multiple portfolio companies and on the Boards of Trustees of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and Columbus Montessori Education Center where he serves as Board President. Ryan holds a BS and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
