Five Companies Enter Rev1 Investor Startup Studio

There’s no better way to conclude one year and kickoff the next than to work hand-in-hand with Columbus’s high-potential startups. We help connect these young companies us to the resources they need to build their high-growth companies, from mentors and advisors to sources of investment capital.

Meet the companies:

Innovate IP: This OSU spinout, led by Jim Bratton, provides a web-based platform that allows institutions to manage their intellectual property, revolutionizing technology-transfer commercialization.

Pnuemocool: Based on technology created at OSU, this bioscience spinout is developing a personalized cooling device that provides a method to reduce dyspnea (air hunger) in hospital patients by utilizing the medical air available at a patient’s bedside.

Reward Works: Led by entrepreneurs Tina and Robert Fisher, Reward Works provides full-spectrum B2B branded loyalty programs for midsize businesses which provide recurring billable services for their customers.

TribeVest: Entrepreneurs Travis Smith and Eric Torgerson are developing a group savings platform that connects individuals, ideas, and capital to make their dream investment realities. TribeVest won Techstars’ 2018 Columbus Pitch Competition and was awarded HubSpot’s 2018 Startup Scholarship.
