Founders’ Story with Rapchat Recap
Our August Founders’ Story gave us an opportunity to connect with Seth Miller and Pat Gibson, the founders of Rapchat, a mobile app that gives anyone the chance to create, share, and discover raps.
Seth and Pat grew up together in Columbus, OH. Ironically, they both represent significant user segments that make up the Rapchat community. Seth, while not a real musician, always enjoyed freestyling or rapping over beats for fun with his friends which led him to come up with the idea. Pat is an established rapper, producer, and musician. He and other musicians see Rapchat as a way to build and engage with fans, connect with other musicians, and perfect their craft.
