About Riley Shelton
Riley is an essential member of the Investments Team. He oversees sourcing and leads meetings with prospective startups to create market maps in Rev1’s thesis areas to discover relevant startups and relationships with other firms. He gained experience from his previous role, being the first touch point for the more than 1000 entrepreneurs who reach out to Rev1 each year.
Before joining Rev1 Ventures, Riley was a due diligence analyst for multiple innovations and venture groups. He conducted market validation and research on prospective portfolio companies. He was also the program manager for the Northeast Ohio Student Venture Fund. Riley attended The University of Akron to study computer information systems and earned his Associate of Science degree from Eastern Gateway Community College.
In his spare time, he enjoys running and reading.
