Ted Bernard is the Managing Principal of Invantage Group LLC, a growth strategy consulting firm specializing in customer experience (CX), innovation, and market development. With over 30 years of leadership in customer engagement, business development, and operational optimization, Ted has helped companies—from early-stage startups to established private equity-backed firms—identify market opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and scale effectively.
Ted’s experience includes leading a senior team that grew a small BPO into a major industry player with a successful exit, advising numerous entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures, and serving as a board member and investor in companies which have achieved exits. Over the past decade, he has led due diligence and evaluation efforts for more than $390 million in early-stage capital funding.
Ted holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA (cum laude) from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of work, he once summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, reaching 19,341 feet—a testament to his endurance and commitment to big goals.
