About Matt Bey
I am a Partner at RiverNorth Capital Management with roughly 20 years of experience spanning investing, trading, operations, strategy, and risk management. Earlier in my career, I was an equity derivatives trader, and over time my responsibilities expanded into senior leadership roles focused on fund launches, decision-making, execution, governance, and capital allocation. In addition to my professional role, I am an active private fund and seed capital investor and a published author.
I hold a BBA in Finance from Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I live in Dublin, Ohio, with my wife and three children.
I can be most helpful to founders who are navigating important growth and inflection points, particularly around strategic prioritization, go-to-market focus, fundraising readiness, financial discipline, and operating structure. My style is practical, thoughtful, and direct.
